Mrs. Paulsen's 3rd Grade Class has finished a unit on how one person can change the world. The students have chosen to collect school supplies for two organizations - The Casey Community School in the Gallon Jug Rainforest in Belize and RISSE located in Albany.

We also completed our study of names. We read The Name Jar by Yangsook Choi and Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes. We learned that our names are the first gifts that our parents give us. Our names are important and are something that we should always treasure. Thank you for all of your help with researching the children's names. We have a beautiful display in the first floor back hallway. Next time you are in school, please take some time to read the interesting stories about our children's names. I learned so much about the students.
